Establishing high quality career guidance and counseling programmes is important in any well-functioning school/organization. EACGPA has been formed in particular to improve and promote career guidance and counselling in East Africa.

  •  Be the leading professional association for career education and guidance practitioners in East Africa, comprising of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda - the organisation for experts on choices for learning and work

  • Support best practice in whatever context our members operate and to be the focal point for all career education and guidance practitioners - researchers, guidance workers, managers, teachers and trainers - to share their knowledge and enjoyment of the profession in which they are engaged

  • Work collaboratively with other organisations and agencies interested or involved in career education and guidance to influence policy makers and to promote quality standards
